Dan Webster Band @ Light Dragoon

Dan Webster is a seasoned English singer-songwriter, his music is influenced by sounds and story telling traditions of American and British Folk music (in it’s broadest sense), Americana and Rock and Roll. Americana UK described him as ‘A Hybrid of Damien Rice, Seth Lakeman and Tom McRae’. Webster just writes what he feels, in his words “it’s just about the music, there’s no plan when I’m writing, there doesn’t need to be, writing is about honesty, we connect with real experiences and real emotions in music”.

Oct 7 @ 7:15 pm – 10:45 pm
Carrie Martin plus support of Geoff Green and The Carousels @ The Processed Pea Club

Carrie Martin is a British acoustic guitarist, singer and songwriter from Hull in Yorkshire. Having given up music to raise a family she returned to writing, playing and singing encouraged by the noted acoustic guitarist Gordon Giltrap – she cites her meeting Gordon as the most important thing that has happened to her in her musical career. Her guitar playing has attracted sufficient attention for her to be recruited as an endorsee by Vintage guitars. Influenced by the likes of Eva Cassidy and Ann Wilson from Heart, her writing and performing style nevertheless defies categorisation.

The support band for this event is Geoff Green and the Carousels Good times & Chilled Vibes, laid back acoustic folk, pop, funk with a happy twist
